Why choose a Mary Queen of Saints education?

We know that parents are the first teachers of their children. Together with God we work as partners in every student’s education. This partnership forms a community, united in the belief that Christian values and excellent academics will best prepare a child for the future. We have created an environment where families become immersed into the MQSCA school community. It is our mission to “make a difference” in the lives of students, parents and the world!

We, the Christian Community of Mary Queen of Saints Catholic Academy, in collaboration with the Catholic parishes of West Allis and West Milwaukee, are called to integrate the Teachings of Jesus Christ into the spiritual, academic, and social development of each individual.

We believe that:

The climate for effective learning in a Catholic community must be one that provides a safe, encouraging, nurturing environment for all children.

The development of the individual student to his/her fullest potential is the shared responsibility of home, school, and faith community.

Each individual thrives in an atmosphere of respect and peace. Therefore, we revere God, love each other, ourselves and our environment.

The staff will build upon the faith life of the students that the parents, as primary spiritual educators have nurtured

The staff will act as role models through a lived appreciation of scripture and tradition.

The school community will celebrate our life experiences as a Catholic, Christian community through liturgy and prayer.

We, the staff, along with the family, will address the uniqueness and diversity of each student while nurturing the intellectual development of each student through the use of standards based curriculum.

Students, guided and encouraged by the staff, will develop a sense of responsibility, to self, family, school, parish and community and therefore cultivate a love for learning, and grow in self-confidence.

Faith

Saints in Training

When you send your child to MQSCA, you do more than share your faith with them. You put your faith in us to provide your child with strong spiritual and academic foundations. We take this responsibility seriously, which is why we do more than prepare our students for tests in the classroom. We prepare them for tests in life.

Service Work

Our students and staff are serious about serving our community. We organize book drives, pajama drives, collect personal care products and other donations to benefit people and families in need. We also volunteer at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, Salvation Army, and the American Heart Association.
